COMMUNICATIONS WITH CONSUMERS

To ensure quality control and that inquiries are handled accurately, courteously, and promptly, phone calls between consumers (“Consumers,” “you”) and Hilliard Law, (“HL” “we,” “us,” “our”) or any of our affiliates, agents, contact center specialists, support staff, legal secretaries, legal assistants, paralegals, and/or attorneys may be recorded. Additionally, Hilliard Law may from time to time make calls and/or send text messages to you at any telephone number associated with your account. The manner in which these calls or text (SMS) messages are made to you may include, but is not limited to, live person-to-person calls, and the use of prerecorded/artificial voice messages and/or an automatic telephone dialing system. You certify, warrant, and represent that the telephone numbers you have provided to us are your contact numbers. You represent that you are permitted to receive calls at each of the telephone numbers you have provided to us. You also agree that Hilliard Law may send emails to you at any email address you provide us, and/or use other electronic means of communication to the extent permitted by law.

Hilliard Law shares the concerns of visitors (“Visitors,” “you”) to the Hilliard Law website (the “Site”) that links directly to this privacy policy about the protection of personal information online. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes our practices regarding the privacy of information that we collect through the Site, which is hosted and operated from the United States. This Policy does not govern our collection of information through any website, or by any other means, other than through the Site, or the collection of information by any subsidiaries, partners, sponsors, consultants or affiliated companies (“Affiliated Entities”).We encourage you to read this Policy before using our Site. 1. Information Hilliard Law Gathers Through the Site.

   Hilliard Law gathers two basic types of information through the Site: “Personal Information,” from which an individual can be identified, and “Aggregate Information,” from which an individual cannot be identified.

   1. Aggregate Information.

      Hilliard Law may use cookies and other technologies such as log files, tracking pixels, and analytic tools and services to collect information (including Personal Information) automatically from you. Such information includes your IP address, location information, the type of the web browser and operating system you use, browsing activities, usage information, and any other information that your web browsing software or Internet Service Provider automatically provides to our Services.

      1. Server Log Files.

         When you visit our website, we may track information about your visit and store that information in web server logs, which are records of the activities on our sites. The servers automatically capture and save the information electronically. Examples of the information we may collect include:

         We use the IP addresses of all Visitors to calculate Site usage levels, to help diagnose problems with the Site’s servers, to administer the Site, and to improve the user experience. We also may use IP addresses to communicate or to block access by Visitors who fail to comply with our Terms of Service. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is carried out automatically by many websites.

         The Site may use so-called may use third party analytics tools, including but not limited to, “Facebook Pixel tags, Google Analytics tags, and Bing Analytics tags” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs”, “Javascript” or similar means to compile aggregate statistics about Site usage and response rates. Tags allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the Site, to deliver branded services and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in HTML-formatted email messages, Tags can tell the sender whether and when the email has been opened.

   2. Personal Information.

      You are not required to register or provide Personal Information in order to access our Site, though certain functionalities (such as submitting a free case evaluation) require Personal Information. on. Personal Information may include your contact information (such as your name, postal address, telephone numbers and/or email address) and case-specific information (such as important dates and injury details). We collect Personal Information from you only when you voluntarily provide it to us: for example, in contacting us through the Site, sweepstakes, answering surveys and polls, signing up for email updates and announcements concerning our services and contacting Hilliard Law for case evaluation. If you fill out the “contact” form on this website, we will ask you to provide some personal information (such as e-mail address, name, and phone number). Further, if chat is available through this site, you may be asked to provide information if you participate in an online chat. Please do not submit any confidential, proprietary or sensitive personally identifiable information (e.g. Social Security Number; date of birth; driver’s license number; or credit card, bank account or other financial information) (collectively, “Sensitive Information”).
