Jade Heep brings practical litigation experience to our team. She assists in handling complex civil litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. Jade has tried several cases as lead attorney to final verdict/ award in both jury trials, as well as arbitrations. She has briefed numerous complex legal issues throughout the course of her career, including pre-trial briefing for a jury trial in which the team she worked with received a multi-million-dollar verdict for their injured client.

Prior to joining our team, Jade worked at a San Antonio firm who specialized in work injury cases. Jade was a Plaintiff’s attorney for personal injury cases and ran a full docket as lead counsel. Since before she graduated law school, Jade had a passion for helping those who do not typically have a voice in the legal system. She has continued to facilitate that desire throughout her practice.

Jade received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2018. She graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into St. Mary’s distinguished John M. Harlan Society, an honorary organization that recognizes students who have excelled academically and graduate in the top 10% of the class.

While at St. Mary’s, Jade was a Staff Writer for St. Mary’s Law Journal, served as the lead research assistant for one of her professors, and worked as a law clerk for a San Antonio personal injury firm. During her time at St. Mary’s, Jade made the Dean’s List multiple times, and was a recipient of the coveted Dean’s Scholarship, reserved for a select few students who academically surpassed their peers. Jade was also a participant in St. Mary’s University’s Institute on World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck, where she studied International Business Law in Austria during her summers in law school.

Jade received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a focus on Forensic Psychology, from Texas State University, where she made the Dean’s List a total of five times, including every semester for her last two years, earning a 4.0 during each of those semesters.

Jade is affiliated with several legal organizations including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, and the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, of which she is an active member. Jade is also currently a class member of the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation LEAD Academy and assists in running a book club for the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion board. Outside of work, Jade spends most of her time with her husband and two dogs, Pablo and Ralphy. She also never passes up an opportunity to karaoke (her go to song is Selena’s “Como la Flor”) and is passionate about all things books.

Since 2019, Jade has been recognized by Scene in S.A. as one of San Antonio’s best attorneys. She was also featured in Scene in S.A.’s  2021 Women in Law edition.

Jade is licensed by the State Bar of Texas. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Western District Court of Texas.
