A TEXAS LAW FIRM with a NATIONAL REPUTATION for RELENTLESSLY PURSUING JUSTICE.

STEVEN P. JOHNSTON

Background

Attorney Steve Johnston has dedicated his career to representing individuals in personal injury litigation and trials. He has worked on a variety of cases concerning dangerous drugs, defective medical devices, defective products and water and environmental contamination. He has extensive experience in developing case strategy, leading discovery, preparing written motions and briefs, and working with and deposing experts in complex medical and products liability litigation. In addition to representing individual clients, Steve has worked in support of Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees and Discovery and Science & Expert subcommittees in mass tort cases.

Steve’s approach to every case is built upon tireless work, thorough preparation, and a commitment to excellence. He seeks efficient resolution of cases through informal settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and settlement conferences, when appropriate. But he strongly believes that sometimes the only way to obtain justice for a client is to ask a jury to deliver it through a verdict at trial.

Steve continuously tries to harness the power of technology to obtain an edge in litigation and trial practice. He is constantly searching for and implementing new and innovative ways to advocate for his clients with the use of cutting-edge technology and systems.

Steve works for the firm remotely from Colorado and is licensed to practice by the Colorado State Bar. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Steve is not licensed in the State of Texas.
