Since beginning his law practice in 2012, Matthew has been a passionate advocate for those who have been seriously injured or whose rights have been violated by the wrongful or negligent acts of others.  Before joining Hilliard Martinez Gonzales LLP, Matthew practiced with a plaintiff-oriented catastrophic injury boutique as well as a national plaintiff’s injury firm.

Matthew has represented clients in cases where injuries arise from car accidents, amusement park ride defects, product design defects, falls, serious assaults, and civil rights violations. He has pushed for the best results for his clients inside and outside of the courtroom.

Matthew is proud to say that in his first personal injury jury trial, the resulting verdict was nearly three times the insurance company’s last offer. While not every result is guaranteed, Matthew is a reliable guide to his clients as they navigate every challenge their case brings about.

In 2014, Matthew was recognized as a Minnesota Northstar Lawyer for his significant time spent representing tenants and consumers being pursued by predatory debt collectors.
